Whenever we talk about the patriotism in Bollywood we always remember the films such as Gadar – Ek Prem Katha, Lagaan, Haqeekat(1964), Sarfarosh and many more like those.
But most of the times we don’t remember the songs those made these films such a epic films. On the eve of Republic day let’s remember some of those forgotten songs of the era in Bollywood.

“Mera raang de basanti chola” from the movie The Legend of Bhagat Singh, sung by Sonu Nigam.
“Ma tujhe salaam” from album Vande Mataram(1997), sung by A.R. Rahman
“Chak de India”, from the movie Chak De India, lyrics by Jaideep Sahni, sung by Shukwindar Singh
These are only few of those many of such songs we forget, and republic day and independence days are those when we tend to remember those.
